The Oegyujanggak Uigwe : Recorde of the State Rites of the Joseon Dynasty
The Joseon dynasty uigwe texts were inducted into UNESCO’s Memory of the World Resister in 2007.
Thus, historical and cultural value of Joseon’s recordkeeping tradition have already been recognized globally.
1759(35th year of King Yeongjo) Joseon Dynasty : This is ‘Uigwe’ recording Royal Wedding Ceremony of King Yeongjo and Queen Jeongsun. The ‘Uigwe’ contains 50 pages of paintings ‘Chinyoung Banchado’ depicting King Yeongjo going to the palace with Queen Jeongsun, in which 379 horses and 1,299 people appear.
Special transcription techniques of products with hand-painted effects. In the separate tags, painting are described in two languages. Special elegance is added to this ceramic ware with substantial gold hand paintings on its edges. Also background color of the green pearl to express delicate and luxurious feel.
